Last night the moon
was full and sat in
a pink and lavender sky.
I stared at it from a strip mall
Parking lot, even took
Pictures of it on the camera
On my phone.
I watched as the night
changed from lavender to purple
To black. I stood there
As the throng of shoppers
buzzed around me
painfully oblivious
to the god-given art
thrumming above their heads.
